About Me & This Site

Welcome to my page!  My name is William, but I like to go by Bill.  I started out in the plumbing industry while I was younger by working in a supply house.  Once I had gained a general knowledge of the parts associated with plumbing, heating and cooling (HVAC), and irrigation, I felt I wanted to do more. After a while longer, I started to have the desire to go out and find out how everything would work in commercial and residential applications.  I started out by taking some plumbing classes and getting a job with one of the contractors that used to buy parts from the company I worked for.

I quickly learned that plumbing can be harder than people think, but with some instruction and practice, anyone can do plumbing.  As times have been hard financially for many people, I have found that a lot of people try to do things by themselves so they can save some money:  that’s where I come in.  I want to share the knowledge and experiences that I have gained over the years as I have worked on plumbing homes and doing other work that is related to building a new home or improving your current home.

To add more variety to my page, it may seem that my posts are a somewhat random, but as my wife says, I’m a random guy!  I enjoy learning about other types of projects as well and trying to do them on my own.  Of course there are many things that you should allow a professional to do, but if you want to try some things out for yourself, I suggest searching for help on the internet and other places.

Please feel free to leave comments, questions, or random thoughts on my page.  Also feel free to contact me anytime!  I may take a while to get back to you, but I will try to answer as quickly as I can.
